Pure Fill Capsules
All the supplements supplied by Epigentics Ltd are manufactured from the highest quality pure ingredients. We have over 350 different products in our range, many of them are unique to Epigenetics Ltd.
We have been producing Pure Fill capsules for a number of years and in July 2015 we have introduced an additional 50 Pure Fill products.
Epigenetics Ltd supplements are hypoallergenic. All our two-piece capsules are hypoallergenic and vegetarian with the exception of the Smart Magnesium capsule which is made from gelatin. There are absolutely no added coatings, binders, shellacs, artificial flavours, fragrances, artificial sweeteners, colours, or excipients in any Epigenetic products.
The raw materials we use are carefully selected to provide the best bio-availability.
One of our basic principles as a quality manufacturer is that we do not use magnesium stearate or any other ‘flow agents’ in any of our products.
Many supplement makers add ‘flow agents’ into their capsules. Their only purpose is to keep ingredients from sticking to equipment during mixing and compression. They make manufacturing faster and easier. There is no reason this ingredient is added for consumer benefit. Magnesium stearate is formed by adding a magnesium ion to stearic acid. The compound has lubricating properties, which can aide production.
Research has shown that stearic acid suppresses T cells—your natural killer cells—which are a key component of your immune system. According to that study, stearic acid causes the collapse of cell membrane integrity—an effect that was found to be time and dose dependent—which, ultimately, can destroy cell function.
Epigenetics products also do not contain wheat, gluten, nuts, egg, preservatives or hydrogenated oils.
When the quantity of the capsule ingredient is too small to fill a capsule we will add a inert product as a 'carrier' to help evenly distribute the small amounts of the active ingredient evenly throughout the product mix. The carrier we use is “plant cellulose” which is described on our packaging as Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. Plant cellulose is a naturally sourced fibre and harmlessly passes through the body.
